How can student information be retained for those who have graduated, but removed from the active accounts?

Hello,
We are currently working on a true alumni/inactive database feature. This should be available in the near future.
However, in the meantime, a lot of people remove the grade level from the student and thus keeping them in the system but then able to be seen as inactive quickly. I know this is not the "cleanest" answer, but we are currently working on the alumni/inactive database feature.

I have kept my students from last year in my database and added this year's new class (5th graders). Is there a way I can automatically make a family access account for the new 5th graders without doubling the previous set of students that already have access? Thanks!

Hello Max,
The Automatic Family Access creation tool will only create access account for the students in your system that do not already have one. Therefore it will not reset or duplicate your existing accounts. So you can run that tool and it will just create accounts for your new class of 5th graders.
Please let me know if you need anything else!

Is there a way to remove standard ensembles from my list of ensembles so I only see the classes I actually teach?

Is there a way to remove standard ensembles from my list of ensembles so I only see the classes I actually teach? Hello, You are not the first person to request this feature. I will look into the ability to turn on and off the standard ensembles being shown for your account. This would only leave custom ensembles being shown...so you would have to make all of your ensembles in the options area of the databases for any to appear. Please realize that currently with MMO when you do a search for an ensemble or use the communication area to send a message to an ensemble...only the ensemble that you have used and have a student currently assigned to them appear. I hope this helps! Peter Sampson, Owner My Music Office webmaster@mymusicoffice.com

When are you going to have an archive feature so that data for students that have left the program can be retained?
