new user. we got a batch of people who signed up for marching band. we uploaded then, created accounts and emailed their new account information to them with mmo. now we have another batch of new people to add. i see that i can upload them and they will be added to the existing names (i know i have to deduplicate first) and that i can create accounts for the new people. when i send out an email with the logons and passwords, will it only send to the new batch i uploaded?

Hello,
If you send out another email of usernames and passwords to the "Marching Band" ensemble, it will send to all parents/students for that ensemble. Therefore your first batch parents would receive another email if you use that method. Here are a couple of things to try:
1) Create a temporary ensemble called something like "MB" or "Marching Band new" and then temporarily assign those new students to that ensemble...send your email...and then switch them back over to the other ensemble.
2) You can manually choose which parents/students you send the Account Login Information to, so you can just select the ones you just added in for this email as well.

I had 75 names i uploaded then created accounts for them and now i am adding another 50 new members and want to create accounts for them. when i go to create the accounts it says:
"Please note that this will create every student a login and if you manually created logins in the past, you should delete those logins so you don't have duplicates."
i assume it only means if i manually created the accounts. since my first batch were all auto generated running this again will not screw up the first set of accounts in the system?

Hello,
Yes, you are correct. Since you auto-created the first batch and are doing so again with the second batch, you will be fine. The system will create usernames and passwords for the newly added students and will keep the current students alone.
